Visit by Sookmyung Women's University

The team from Sookmyung Women's University in Seoul, South Korea is exploring the topic of sustainability at the intersection of art and culture, as well as the connection between cultural sustainability and urban renewal. The project team became aware of LMU through the Munich Center for Sustainability (MZN) events in autumn/winter 2024.

The interesting meeting began with mutual introductions in German. The exchange focused on various forms of artistic expression that deal with ecological and social sustainability. Large-scale methodological approaches to exploring the field of art, sustainability and structured analysis, such as excursions and service learning, were also discussed.

The fruitful meeting was very well received by all participants, who expressed their desire for further exchange and a continuation of the substantive work.
